In this talk, the speaker shall discuss their recent discovery on the localization and geometrization phenomena in wave scattering as well as the corresponding applications in invisibility cloaking, wave imaging and metamaterials.
主講人介紹：
劉宏宇，香港浸會大學教授、數學系副主任，國際著名反問題專家，主要從事反問題成像、數學材料科學、PDE、動力系統幾何積分子、數值分析和科學計算等領域的研究。劉教授兼職為香港研究資助局會評專家、香港政府博士生獎學金項目遴選委員會專家、國際反問題協會東亞分會秘書等，為Inverse Problems and Imaging 、Journal of Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics 、Contemporary Analysis and Applied Mathematics國際SCI期刊的副主編。 劉教授獲得Calderon Prize（2017）、MediaV Young Researcher Prize（2016）。 劉教授在SIAM系列、Inverse Problems、Journal of the European Mathematical Society、Journal de Mathematiques Pures etAppliquees、Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Comm. Math. Phys.、J. F. A.等國際頂級期刊上發表80多篇論文(其中有多篇被Editorial Highlights) 。
