In this talk, we will study the asymptotic behavior of the relativistic Boltzmann equation in the whole space, under the closed to equilibrium setting. In fact, we recognize the finite speed of propagation of the solution of the relativistic Boltzmann equation, which reflects the difference in essence between the relativistic Boltzmann equation and the classical Boltzmann equation.
主講人介紹：
吳恭儉，臺灣成功大學數學系教授，畢業于臺灣新竹交通大學，英國劍橋大學博士后研究，主要研究方向為Boltzmann方程及Landau方程解的適定性及漸近行為。目前已在Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis、Communications in Mathematical Physics、SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis、Journal of Functional Analysis、Nonlinearity、Journal of Differential Equations、Journal of Statistical Physics等主流數學雜志發表學術論文。
